Mel is a gifted illustrator and she has created a magical world of charming woodland animals in her first collection, Welcome To Our Neighborwood. The assortment includes a 10-inch block pattern in a 24-inch repeat with sweet images of woodland animals with plenty of personality. It includes a hedgehog sniffing a flower, a raccoon holding a camera and ready to take a selfie, an owl balancing on a large mushroom, a fox relaxing and enjoying the aroma of a flower, a bird plucking a leaf and a squirrel snapping a photo. The lead pattern combines a variety of woodland creatures accented by trees, mushrooms, leaves, butterflies and insects. The color palette is primarily a range of teals and corals along with accents of orange, lime and grayed browns.
